Joe and Jude met whilst studying their masters degree together in 2017 and formed a bond over a shared desire to bring about change in the fire sector. Not All Fire is a collaborative project where Joe and Jude seek to share insights into fire whilst giving a platform for others in industry to share ideas and knowledge in an informative and accessible way.
Joe Hart is an Engineer and Researcher based in the north of England. He is founder and CEO of the Delta Innovation Group where he sits as Head of Fire Engineering at Delta Fire Engineering, Head of R&D at Delta Research & Development and Head of Curriculum Development at Delta Fire Training. Joe holds a degree in Fire Engineering and a masters degree in Fire & Explosion Engineering, and is passionate about combining academic research with real industry practice. He is also President of the Institution of Fire Engineers Yorkshire & Humberside Branch where he leads the Branch's early careers mentoring and public engagement programmes.
Outside of work Joe is a keen astronomer and is also a less keen photographer. He is an acclaimed author and presenter on the topics of building safety, and is a frequent presenter at international conferences. Joe is based in offices both in the northwest of England and in central London.
Judith Evans has been a dedicated professional in the fire safety industry since 2007 and is the Director of Rowans Fire Safety, a consultancy firm specialising in Fire Risk Assessments and Fire Engineering solutions. With a strong technical background and a passion for ensuring Fire Safety compliance, Judith has worked across various sectors, helping businesses and organisations create safer environments through practical, tailored risk assessments and engineering strategies.
Before transitioning into fire safety, Judith spent several years managing pubs, an experience that honed her problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively with people. She firmly believes that clear communication is the foundation of effective fire safety, ensuring that risks are not only identified but also understood and managed properly by all stakeholders.
